Blackmagic Design ups the ante in compact cine-style capture with their Super 35 sensor Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. Not only can the BMPCC 6K record up to 50 fps 6144 x 3456 video, but in a boon to lens connoisseurs everywhere, it features an active Canon EF mount, letting users take advantage of the expansive array of EF/EF-S–mount lenses available.
Turn to the BMPCC 6K to turn one frame into two by cropping a second shot from one frame, to upscale to 8K, or to simply capture rich, detailed footage with your favorite EF/EF-S–mount lens. The same internal color processing makes it easy to intercut BMPCC 6K with BMPCC 4K footage. Record using the internal CFast 2.0 and SD/UHS-II card slots or output via the USB-C port to capture longer clips to an external drive. The BMPCC 6K includes a DaVinci Resolve Studio license and supports Blackmagic Raw capture from the sensor. Using the Raw format with the sensor’s metadata simplifies editing to suit any project and makes editing easier with DaVinci Resolve.
The compact BMPCC 6K retains the familiar controls and menu layout of the 4K version in a minimally deeper form to accommodate the EF lens mount. Features such as ISO support up to 25,600, 13 stops of dynamic range, 1920 x 1080 monitor output, and a bright 1920 x 1080 touchscreen 5″ LCD are carried through from the BMPCC 4K as well. Professional audio support includes a mini XLR input with phantom +48V power and four built-in mics. Whether you’re shooting an indie film, wildlife, or fashion, the BMPCC 6K’s compact form is less intrusive than larger cameras, lending itself to more intimate setups. The BMPCC 6K is fashioned from a carbon fiber polycarbonate composite that is both lightweight and durable.
Additional pro features include lens metadata support, 3D LUT application for both monitoring and recording, up to 21.2MP still image capture, and a multifunction grip that enables single-handed operation. Sync multiple cameras for a concert, event, or other multicamera shoots by linking an external timecode generator to the BMPCC 6K’s internal timecode generator (accessed via the 3.5mm audio port). Then save valuable time by using Resolve 16.1 to automatically sync your multicamera shots in post.
In addition to the DaVinci Resolve Studio activation key, the BMPCC 6K comes with a power supply offering simultaneous battery charging, an LP-E6 battery, a lens port cap, and a camera strap.

In this short little blog post, we have three crucial tips to aid in making your next presentation interesting, informative and most of all engaging!
When preparing for your presentation, consider creating slides that contain a limited amount of txt, and instead plan to offer much of your information verbally! There is nothing less interesting than a ton of written words with no verbal explanation. The more you talk to your audience the more your personality will shine through as well. You’ll also want to make a point to use lots of visuals on your slides as society in general happens to be very visual. Another idea is to consider asking your audience questions, perhaps a “pop quiz” or poll to really get the conversation started. Group activities are yet another idea as these tend to bring out the best in both introverts and extroverts in your audience.

Color Choices
The bi-color feature offers a variable color temperature between 3200-5600k for all types of situations. Light intensity is also variable from 10-100% without flicker.
DMX and Manual Controls
You can access adjustments via the back of the fixture or onboard a DMX controller. We recommend connecting all of them together with a DMX controller for quick and effective changes from one location. This will save you time.
Overview
These panels are a versatile fixture with features that make it a pleasure to use in the studio or on location. The light has a color temperature that’s variable from 3200 to 5600K or anywhere in between to match other fixtures or ambient light conditions or just for creative effects. Light intensity is also conveniently variable from 100 to 10% without flicker and both functions can be adjusted either on the light or remotely thanks to onboard DMX512.
It runs barely warm to the touch, allowing you to work close to the subject without causing discomfort or hot light hazards. It produces a high output of 2565 lux @ 3.3′ while consuming just 100W of power and maintaining a high CRI/TLCI rating of 96, indicating faithful and precise rendering of colors. The Square Sun 1×1′ also has a wide coverage of 120 degrees which can be modified and controlled by its removable 4-way barn doors. The barn doors have gel clips to mount diffusion and other materials to alter the quality of light.

Cool Running The Square Sun’s LEDs run barely warm to the touch allowing you to work close to your subject without discomfort and without losing time waiting for the fixture to cool down.
Fan Cooling The built-in fan is operated by a dedicated on/off switch. To avoid noise that can be picked up by a microphone, the fan can be turned off. Like most LEDs, there is a power drop when the fan is turned off, but the Square Sun only minimally drops to 80% brightness. If you’re operating at less than 80% brightness, there will be no change.
Barndoors with Filter Clips The included removable barn doors have filter clips to attach diffusion and other light modifying materials.
Single Shadow The recessed LEDs bounce the light off the interior reflector and they are softened by an integrated diffuser panel yielding a bright and punchy light with a soft wrap-around quality that eliminates multiple shadows often associated with LED lighting.
