The story of Fox Audio Visual began with a singular vision rooted in the historic rooms of Fox Music House in Charleston, South Carolina. Founded by Steve Brown, the journey started with a simple focus on professional microphone and speaker rentals. What began as a local resource for basic AV equipment quickly evolved as Steve recognized a growing demand for sophisticated event technology and hands-on technical support. Those early days of managing local Charleston events laid the groundwork for our core philosophy: providing high-end production services built on a foundation of technical integrity and a "customer-first" mentality.

Over the decades, we’ve nurtured that spark into a premier full-service event production company. We didn’t grow overnight; we built our reputation through a relentless passion for "doing the right thing" and prioritizing transparent communication with our clients. This commitment to excellence in South Carolina paved the way for our expansion into the Golden Isles, where we established a strategic presence in St. Simons Island, Georgia. Today, we are proud to be the leading AV provider for elite resorts, corporate summits, and non-profit galas throughout the Southeast.

Our success is driven by a full-time staff of over 12 expert technicians, and over 25 contractors, each a master in their respective field—from audio engineering and intelligent lighting design to high-resolution video production and modular staging. We aren’t just equipment operators; we are creative problem-solvers passionate about the "why" behind the technology.
